Community Relocation
While many developers are replacing existing MH units with brand new homes, other developers are looking for used homes to fill in existing communities. The approach of replacing existing homes with new homes brings about a renewed sense of community and belonging, but can also leave some tenants who can’t afford a new home out in the cold. That’s why Archon Group has created a solution for this problem that can:
- Allow donor communities to remove existing homes at low or no cost
- Allow recipient communities to gain tenants, and tenant-owned homes, at a very low cost of acquisition
- Allow tenants of donor communities the opportunity to retain their largest asset – their home
- Avoid the destruction of an affordable housing unit
